This pic was taken after 2 years of shadetree body work by me and my son. The $500 purchase was covered with surface rust, but the sheetmetal was real solid. Removed the bumptrim, filled rivet holes, and smoothed out a few dents. Most of the car was taken down to bare metal, all was rattle-can primered (about a case worth)!
Here is the Retro Lime idea I ended up with. I have always been a fan of the "Rapid-Transit" colors and generation of cars... so why not? This was intended to look like a Scamp/Superbee/Charger throwback. Check out the next few pages to see the progress...
