Okay, so I redid this page, to show the work on the car, and my rating went down. This is a story people.... if you want the finished pics, goto the last page... well, finished as of now that is. My current projects are, interior, cf rear hatch, and tuning. The interior is being changed to mostly if not all black, from tan. Then the car is going to ripp mods to be dyno tuned, so hopefully in the next few weeks ill have numbers. Then I will be purchasing the cf hatch from vis. then i just have to find a middle section of my wing made in cf.
by the way, this car will be a readers ride in modified magazine sometime soon... prob. in the next three months, not sure though. they told me they would like to put it in, i just need pics of the interior, hence why i need to get it done.
check it out, check the last page for most updated pics! i put a couple here to tease...

So I'm redoing this whole cardomain because I want to show the work that has actually gone into this car. This is not a show car, although I bring it to shows, its no trailer queen that's for sure. Anyone who knows me knows how much I love to drive this car, and boy do I ever. I'm never going to be able to sell her and get a good price, so I'll admit now that I love to beat the hell out of it. It's been good to me, as long as you don't add up how much it's costed me. Anyway, I bought this car on November 26th 2003. She was totally stock, 100%. 47,000 miles on the clock. 3 years and 65,000 miles later... she looks better than new and drives almost as reliable.

We'll start off at the very beginning, because I hear thats a good place to start.

On the left is the picture of my car in totally stock form sitting in front of the gas station I owned for a few years after high school. On the right is a picture of the car along the PCH somewhere a little south of San Francisco California. (remember that I'm from southern maine... see how the miles racked up now?)

This is when I decided to do my first mod, a VIS evo style hood. Also note the way the engine looks.... its a good 'before' picture if you will. Needless to say, the VIS hood lined up perfect and has treated me well, with only minor cracks in the clear coat 2 and a half years later. EASY to put on.

So heres some pics of the car with the second mod, a year later... with some black 5-zigen fn01rc wheels. The pic on the left is again in california, and again on the pch (though another trip). I like that pic because its basically just a sillouette, so black... I loved that so much, but wasn't very show appeal... On the right and the lower pic are just cool pics I liked when I drove to key west. Florida is such a great place to drive... I wouldn't want to live there, (though I am a legal resident of Florida) but driving is so much fun, its hard not to go 100+...

So over the winter, my car was hit twice, neither time was I in the car... they were minor hits, but were enough to pay 2500 in damage. well, what am i supposed to do? leave it black? what a perfect opportunity to paint it, and I knew just the guys. the guys at Pape Cheverlot in South Portland Maine are amazing to say the least. They took care of this car, and were always incredibly friendly. Heres some pics of how appart the car was:
