r33pickup's 1971 Datsun 521 new update! after years of abuse, we are finally rebuilding the front end of the pickup. there was cracked and ruined bondo everywhere, so we are glad to get rid of it and replace it with new stuff. just got it all smoothed out tonight (forgot to get a picture of it when i was done). we also built a new lip for it, and we got it mounted and primed tonight. now its out to the track tomorrow! we are lookin for a record run too. :D

i have 2 trucks right know one is 521 i think the other is the 510 or somthign like that all that is different is the front marker light isn't above the bumper. one is going to be built for road trips i have a early 80s deisel datsun parts truck for it. i have bagged a few trucks so thats the easy part i have to cut most of the fram anyways. so i thought it may be easyer i i just make it all out outrages. the morot is a v6 style. only problem i haven't figured out is how to mount the front bags in the truck as i well have to run the front axles where the bag normaly goes. how far did you move you fire wall back for your motor? i'm full of ideas and dreams good thing is i'm good at fabricating the parts i need like a full front disk conversion. i'm not going to chaneg to a independent rear i don't think well not untill i get everythign else done. by the way i likw how the truck still looks like a 521. i'll post some pic of the dodge stealth set up so u have any idea how it works. the biggest problem i'm goign to have it gettign the tires yo clear the motor when its slammed =) i have most of the knowledge i need i just need someone to help me straghten it all out. thanks for your help sorry for taking over your guest book.
