These are my two ladies. The red one being my first V8. She's still fairly stock, a 351 4V Cleaveland with a 650 dubble pumper Holly, 292 Hydrolic cam and a 3.7:1 diff ratio.

The Gunston coloured one I got December of 2002. She used to be white. Over the past two years I have transformed her from a stock standard daily driver to a Wild Friday Night street maschine.

She runs a HOT 351 4V Cleaveland on a 4speed toploader.

So things have changed a bit.
I've finally recieved my "new" engine from my good friend Warren Lotter. He runs a small enginering company called Stealth Engenering in Cape Town, RSA. He has done an extremely good job as ill explain just now.

The engine (My new Baby) will be powering the Gunston coloured GT and hopefully pushing her into the low elevens!

Here are some specs for those of you who might be interested

302 Cleaveland Block. 4Bolt mains.
4MA 351 Crank.
Forged Carillo Rods.
TRW forged flat top pistons.
302 Cleaveland heads with 351 4V valves. ??Compression ratio of about 12.7-13.0 : 1
A good set of Felpro Head gaskets.
Oil restrictors in all the write places.
External oil lines whith a spraybar.
Custom cut solid lifter cam.
Crane Gold Roller Rockers.
Weind Exell single plain intake manifold.
A custom build carb spacer with some classified internals.
MSD Billet Distributor
MSD 6AL
Edelbrock 250HP Nitro.
Millidon Sump with high volume oil pump and windadge.
NOS Mastermind.
MSD performance plug wires.
2V Performance 4 in to 1 Hedders.

All the power will now be going throug a FMX Auto box (Sorry Warren) with a B&M performance shifter linked to a Ford 9ich wiht a 3.88:1 LS. Yip and some street legal semi slick M/Ts.
Oh and of course a set of some custom flapper bars. I must also confess that about 99% percent of all the custom building work is being done by my good friend Mr G Visagie or Geh as his known in these parts. Watch out for some new pics.

Something interesting for those GT heads. Go and have a look at FairmontGT.com. You're in for a surprise.
Here are the pics I promised.
Cheers.
