OK So Id like to thank all of you that at least check my little spec of a site out... And if any of you know anything about anything about an '85 D50, its all very greatly appreciated.
How I got the truck?-
I work on a Bison Ranch in Carlisle Springs, PA. On my first day, I noticed what at first to me I thought was an older Datsun 720 pickup just sitting in one of the 2 75 foot by 200 foot steel barns. I had asked my boss about it and all he said was "I want the damn thing out of here. Its been setting in my barn for a year and a half. Wait 'til Chris gets here-hes the owner." Well a few hours later, the infamous Chris showed up and we had got to talking and I asked, "So I hear thats your truck over there in the barn, right?". He laughed, "yea its mine, why do you ask?". When I told him I was interested in it, he got a huge smile on his face and said, "Its yours, you want it? I'll drop it off at your driveway." He bought it for a lowrider project, but already has a 'bagged Nissan Hardbody and a newer Acura with a claimed $30,000 into it. Keep in mind that when I was 'given' the truck it had about literally a foot of hay and dust on/in every part of it. The wheels were coated in rust.
Mods so far-
+ Custom Green paint with blue flakes
+ Fully Custom 8-pc fiberglass bodykit
+ 15" by 8" Player wire wheels in high chrome
+ Shift Knob from an '88 Isuzu Trooper 2
+ Custom Shag interior A- and B-pillars
+ Shag green & eggshell checkered headliner
+ Dash polished and painted grey with green & gold accents
+ Insturment cluster mount painted mirror finish chrome
+ Performance Ignition, Distributor cap & Coil

This would be it. My 1985 Dodge D50. As it sits, the crossmember on the frame that runs from left to right, directly underneath the engine is just a hair below 3 inches from the asphalt.

Here you can see my rear left side, the bodykit stands out real well in the picture, take a look at that color!
Interior with the ILLEGAL Grant steering wheel. In Pennsylvania, anything under a 12-inch diameter is illegal. The one you see there is a 9.75 inch. Id also like to remind everybody that there are absolutely NO risers on the seat trays. The chairs are bolted DIRECTLY to the floor so it feels like your sitting on the ground. They are comfortable though...
How do you like the checker headliner? This is truly a Mexican truck. The headliner and A- and B-pillars were done in eggshell and green shag carpeting.

Those are the Player Wire Wheels, I know, I know-they are starting to get a bit rusty on the nipples, damn barns...

A shot of the front/drivers side.Hey, it's almost clean in the picture.

Hopefully this gives you an idea as to how low the truck really is. Thats me and Im pushing 5'10". The top of the roof is clearly to about the
bottom of my shoulder.

There is an almost nice pic of the truck right after spinning off about 6 donuts in my backyard...
Those pictures that you saw before these were all about a month old. The pictures you see here are NEW and just snapped today (10/13/04). YES-the truck is now flat black. YES-there are new and larger tires on the back, however I am going to be putting the original sized ones on the back to make it look even.
Speaking of the new and old tires, take a look at the difference between the P205/50/R15's, the old tires, OFF the wheels, and the new P205/60/R15's. In my opinion, the 205/50's (smaller) definately look better.

And there happens to be the shift knob that for some reason, I like. I know, I know-it doesnt look great or anyhing but it is extremely comfortable on the hands, and looks alright while doing so.
Well those are all the pics Ive got for now. I will proabably be snapping pics of my buddies cars, Hunters '92 Prelude (aka GAYlude), Anthonys '83 and '84 Rabbit GTI's. And the nicest car in our neighborhood, Mikeys '70 Chevelle. I would also like to get pictures on of my '84 Subaru BRAT and my FULLY RESTORED 1963 Pontiac Tempest, lowered-Athankyou. 4-door, 4-cylinder, tan and 18 feet long!! The land yacht hits the streets next spring.
Thank you all once again and PLEASE give me ideas for ANYTHING, please take my poll, and stop back for any and many further updates!!
