So after a couple of years of enjoyment with my truck I decided it was time to go bigger.
The first step was the removal of the Dana 35 up front and replace it with a narrowed Dana 44 from a 79 Bronco. Since I knew there was a lot of work to put in I made the call to do this once.
So.... the internet and eBay became my friend as I ordered many goodies for the truck:
Detroit Tru-trac carrier for the dana 44
5.13 Yukon gears for front and rear
James Duff long travel radius arms
8" Rubicon Express coils
Chromoly axles for the front
6" leaf springs from Carrier Spring
All brand new steering and brake components for the front
38.5x15x15 Bias Ground Hawgs
Custom fabbed coil towers, panhard bar and mount, skid plate/tranny crossmember/radius arm mount.
The entire build-up process is available here:
(You'll just have to copy and past the link to the adress bar as I could not get it to work the other way)

Just a little before and after shot:

This was the first shot after squeezing her out of my buddies shop:

After that day most of the shots have been action shots as you'll see on the next page...
