The day of the Possum:
************************************************************************************************************************

I hydroplaned...

It was after spring break my senior year, so I was about 17. My cousin was with me. First off let me state for the record, I was not speeding or driving reckless.

I passed a guy who was doing 25 on a damp street. The speed limit was 55 and it was a legal passing area. I was only going 45 when I passed. I was proceeding back into my lane. Then my front tire hit a dead possum and it caused me to jerk the wheel, which started the spin.

I managed four 360s, uphill, before a tree stopped me. Mom and Dad were in a car behind me and they counted, along with the guy I passed. I killed the front bumper and hood. To top it off, my dad told me he had just dropped the collision coverage on my car the day before.

Dad did admit that there was nothing I could have done to stop the wreck from occurring. Thankfully, there was no damage to me, my cousin, the radiator or engine compartment.

My high school graduation gift...

RAIF and I were spared the humiliation of him remaining mangled and deformed.

Stereo :

Over the summer before college, my boyfriend at the time taught me about car stereos and amps. He instructed me as I installed 2 amps. The most confusing part was adding in-line signal converters. We set up 15 watts to each of the front speakers and 30 watts to each of the rear speakers.

Here was there placement in the rear cargo area. They are underneath the rear cargo paneling.

Then he had me help him install his aftermarket stereo. I was amazed how easy it was. The adapters made it a piece of cake.

Great work on your page and I think that you should have a better rating for as much work as you put into it. It's crazy how much one thing like tint can cause so much trouble. My Brother-in-law get pulled over all the time for his loud exhaust. mine is loud enough to set car alarms off but the funny thing is that I work for the count jail as a detention officer and know all the patrol offiers in the area. They just smile and wave.

Hey, sorry about not getting back to you in a while...I haven't checked this site since December. Feel free to use any interior pics you need. Unfortunately, the car is in my dad's storage garage 9 hours north of me and I won't see it until this summer. So I will not be able to take any additional pics at this time-sorry.
