INTERIOR

The floor mats were trashed, so I got aftermarket Firebird floor mats.

Stereo:

I got after-market speakers. We ordered them from Crutchfield.
Pioneers: 4X6s & 6X9s. Dad and I got the manual and changed them together.
We used the adapters that were supplied and they went in very easy.

When we got the bird someone had keyed the passenger side. Mom and Dad agreed to pay to repaint the one side. I had that repainted and then I paid to re-trim the car. I had the silver bottom repainted black. I got a one-inch black fading stripe to blend into the red. I got it pin striped in black. I replaced the sides red bump strips with black ones.

Rims:

I saved up all summer and got new rims: Enkei 92s. The only rear wheel drive set like them in GA. I was determined to have a rim that looked like a front wheel drive rim. Im not a big fan of inset/dished wheels.
The shop had to track them down in CA.

Tint:

My father got my car tinted with black legal tint on the windows and rear hatch. The tint shop did an excellent job. You could not even see where they seamed it in the rear.

Emblems
****************************************

We decided to replace the sticker firebird emblems with 2nd generation Firebird ones.

Mom special ordered the black and red metal emblems from different 2nd generation Firebirds. They were from my sail panels and for the fenders by the Firebird lettering.

Headlight Motor:

My drivers side headlight wouldnt pop up. I took the bird to the body shop. They charged $100.00 for a new motor and its installation. I watched how they did it. It was really not too hard to do.

Great work on your page and I think that you should have a better rating for as much work as you put into it. It's crazy how much one thing like tint can cause so much trouble. My Brother-in-law get pulled over all the time for his loud exhaust. mine is loud enough to set car alarms off but the funny thing is that I work for the count jail as a detention officer and know all the patrol offiers in the area. They just smile and wave.

Hey, sorry about not getting back to you in a while...I haven't checked this site since December. Feel free to use any interior pics you need. Unfortunately, the car is in my dad's storage garage 9 hours north of me and I won't see it until this summer. So I will not be able to take any additional pics at this time-sorry.
