Doug @ BamaChips is my favorite tuner. He does an excellent job getting you more horse power and better gas mileage.
I purchased this used 2005 Legend Lime Green GT with only 3300 miles on it.
Performance mods so far.
Steeda UDP's - Pypes O/R H Mid pipe - Hurst Short Throw shifter - Ford Stinger Axel back mufflers - Ford 'K' lowering springs - JLT II CAI with BamaChip 93 Race tune - Motorvation TBS - BMR Strut Tower Brace - Steeda CMCV deletes - 20x8.5 Deep Dish Bullitt rims - 255x35x20 Nitto 555 R's tires -JBA 1 5/8" equal length cat forward shorty headers. They really do make good horsepower.
Appearance - Web Electric sequential turn signals - Mid West mirror covers - 14" shorty antenna - Mid West Tower Brace covers - 30% Lumanar window tint.
Latest Install: Ford K Springs - The ride is firm but comfortable, and you can see the difference between the top pic and the other before shots of the OEM fronts and Roush rear springs in the pics below. Btw - the new springs really put the torque to the ground. Even with traction control on I have the rear end breaking loose.
Here's a few more for your viewing pleasure.
Dyno Time at VMP Tuning
Doug flew in today for the Fun Ford Weekend and tuned up my car using VMP's dynojet.
Yes, here's a picture of Doug.
The final STD corrected dyno numbers (93 Race tune) were 307.72 rwhp and 325.24 rw trq. Btw - those are 20' rims and tires.
The best part of this was he increased my gas mileage from 25 mpg at 70mph to 26.3mpg at 70mph. Ait Temp was ~70* So I'm extremely pleased with the numbers and how it now drives. Love that BamaChip tune.
Note: I had sent Doug an email letting him know how much stronger the tune felt and he responded saying that theres more hp in this tune. The 2nd and 3rd runs were done back to back with no cool down time and the there was also less cross ventilation at the time of the runs.
