Coilovers came in but the upper bushings are M.I.A. Can't wait to install this stuff after those damn bushings come in.

INTRODUCTION

85supracress's 1985 Toyota Supra

This is my site dedicated to my summer/project car, an '85 Celica Supra, P-Type. I bought my Supra on Oct. 7th 2004. It's very clean and had 104,000 miles on it. It was hard to believe that it was a Michigan car due to the very little rust. They call the color "Deep Maroon" but friends and family like to call it poop brown. I'm not big on the color myself, but I got used to it and it acually looks nice, at least when it's wet anyway.

All body work will be done my father, myself, and family. For the muscle car or DIY fans Checkout my parents '67 Camaro that we fully restored ourselves here. Check out my bro's '85 Celica GT-S (next to my car in the pic below) which helped inspired me to stay away from the front-wheel-drive bandwagon and purchase the Supra, here.

Due to the work on my mom's bike aking much longer then expected, I am holding off then body work till fall, that and I just had to drive my car! Although I do have a few pictures of test fitting the Extreme Dimensions body kit and the front & rear bumber fit decent but the side skirts appear to be shorter then they are suppost to be so thats gonna be "fun" getting those to fit properly. I plan on molding the kit smoothly to the body and painting it metallic silver, if I can afford it, I might paint it Dupont Hot Hues "Siva".Once the bike is finished, I have a SPEC light-weight flywheel & SPEC stage 3 clutch waiting to go into the drivetrain. I also am upgrading my suspension. So I have cusco chamber plates (front), KYB AGX 4-way adjustable struts (front), KYB AGX 8-way adjustable shocks (rear). I still plan on getting 300lb spring rate custom length springs (rear), and new bushings front & rear, Ground Control coilovers (front) & adjustable Cusco strut tower brace, Brembo rotors & brake pads. Later in the summer I plan on getting Addco sway bars front & rear w/ new SuperPro bushings & an electric fan conversion. As part on the transformation I am refinishing the stock rims, new windshield, a few interior mods, Celica GT-S steering arms coversion and many other things!

Hey man your car is pretty nice I got a 83 P type. I have a 6mge on mine and some other stuff, i definately think you should get the 6m upgrade cuz its a lot cheaper than Chimp man's turbo which is 5K, for the meantime you'll have a 6m that has 190 hp stock plus your Chimp intake and Chimp pacesetter header, plus your exhuast you'll prob get about 210hp maybe a little more, and if you get the oversized throttle body, msd ignition, you should have enough power for now, till you have enough money to do a 6mgte upgrade. here my site for cardomain http://www.cardomain.com/ride/479522 so you can check it out I painted my car and am waiting for Chimp man to send me my Suspension upgrade also i need to take some new pictures

Check the "UFO" looking thing next to your washer fluid resoviour. Mine didn't work either when I first got her, It turned out that the horn was simply disconnected. Why? I don't know.
