Bolting on and going fast! What could be more fun?
This has been a fun car to mod although much more expensive than I would have ever guessed. The motor is all stock but it has just about every bolt-on mod I can think. However, it is still a very street-able car and I drive it to and from the track at least 3 or 4 times a month. It seems to surprise a lot of ppl including me at how well it has responded to the mods. Some say it is a factory freak or that GM put a ZZ3 cam in it by mistake. However, I didn't sense that it was really that quick in factory trim. But it is now!
With all that I've done to it so far you'd think I'd be done with the bolt-ons and move on to heads and cam. But then the bolt-on competition among the 91-96 B-body crowd is really a lot of fun. I'm gonna stay in this class at least a while longer and set a few more records as well as compete heads up with the other top contenders. I'm currently in the top spot of class 6 on the Dynamic Top ET Page for 91-96 Impala SSs and other B-bodies.
