MarineBroncoii's 1985 Ford Bronco II

I finally got back from my 2 year tour in Japan back in September and got to start working on the Bronco II again. I fired up but then blew up the 302, built a 342 stroker, got the driveshafts and brakes done, drove it to the exhaust shop and back on little tires, the tranny then puked and I had to go to my next duty station in NC. I went home for the weekend, pulled the motor and tranny, sent the tranny to be rebuilt and came back to NC. Went home another weekend and got it all back together, tuned the engine, and drove it around with the 39s on it but needed a new fuel pump and had I to leave it home again. I'm going home Tuesday to buy and install the new fuel pump and drive it to NC. Here's all the stuff that I bought and had shipped home and the stuff I bought at Summit Racing the first day I was home.

Here's some pics from before I went to Japan, the outside looked done but it didn't have driveshafts or brakes yet and the 302 had never been started.

Here it is with my Yamaha, the bottom one shows my dad who I can't thank enough for all of his help.

I lifted the truck about 10-11 inches and put 39.5x15 Trxus STS tires on MB Motoring 16x10 Rocker Wheels on it. In a few pictures I am holding the new tires up beside stock Bronco II tires. As you can see I put a fullsize spare on the rear rack and I added a 3rd brake light in the centercap of the rim. I put on all new shocks and a daul steering stabilizer. I put headlight covers, clear turn signals, and altezza tail lights on it. I also added Bushwacker Cut-Out Fender Flares. And I have chrome differential covers on the front and rear.

Here's my truck next to my dad and stepmom (pictured)'s old Jeep, which has a 3 inch lift and 33x 12.5 tires. It dwarfs it to say this least.

Here it is coming into the garage, it wouldn't even fit through the door with the power opener connected so I disconnected it to raise the door more. There are a few pictures of my sister and I in front of the truck, she helped some, but mostly put up with my mess in her way all the time.

My parents moved my truck from the building it was in up to the garage and sent me these pictures. The first one is where it was. It wouldn't fit through the door so they had to put half deflated normal size tires on it to get it through. With the big tires back on it and a wall built behind it I think it is safe from theft.
