Video Run by Orbital Video Productions
Few days back, a friend of mine recommended a vid production company to contact me regarding usage of a convertible for a video shoot. Sounded quite cool so I agreed. Here are some pix of the mounted $6K vid cam on the top of the boot of my ride:

They made me drive thru Orchard, Raffles, Bugis, CBD area and then finally just at Little India...where they're office is....
Pretty nice exp thru-out....and had a nice chat with the vid man on board....
Apparently, they're producing a short 25-min documentary on the Singapore lifestyle, day-to-day habits, places of interest in SG, people on the streets, etc. Will be getting the invite to view it when they launch it at the Singapore Discovery Centre next month or so.....update then!

Ronald MacDonald's Charity Day @ Sepang International Circuit 11/6/06 Saturday
Someone called me up on Friday night to ask me whether I would be able to help out at this event for the less fortunate kids in Malaysia at Sepang. So early at 3.45am, the local RX8Club members and myself met up at Woodlands to drive up to Sepang for this event. I guess I was killing two birds with one stone; not having been able to visit Sepang, and to give something back to charities like these.....

Munkee ran 3:04 on Sepang full track that day on ST115s....not quite shabby for a 15 year old ride...=)
Overall it was a good experience for me and the rest of the guys. Choose the track number 084 because there just simply wasn't a 004! someone else had took it, and i found out later it was one of the Lotus drivers.....haiz...
Will definitely go back up there to let loose in the future...refreshing trip up north alone this time....though I miss the old days...with someone.
Here are some links to clips some of the static people took that day of my ride....cheers!
Overtaking a fellow RX8
Entering Sepang pits for a rest
Trying to chase a heavily modded Proton Satria
Just passing thru Section 1 Sepang

This is what my old 1993 Miata MX5 used to look when I bought it over from my father back in 2000.
I had just changed tyres to Falken 326s, retained the stock Mazda 14" rims and pretty much was still thinking about budget and ideas.
Proudly standing beside the car that I've loved since I was a young kid!
Dad took the car out for one final spin before handing it over to me that fateful night. I guess he was reluctant to transfer the car to me, fearful of what would happen in the future....hehe..=)

Humble Beginnings....
This was one of the other mod for the Miata, from Britain, that I was also seriously considering. Unfortunately, their shop closed due to some reason and I was unable to contact them for imports. Minor setback!
After acquiring some CF canards and side diffusers, I decided to fit them on to check out how it would look. Not too bad, but the front bumper had to go for a total make-over, or it would have been funny looking.
After some considerations, I visited a shop up in Malaysia called N1 Motorsports and acquired a fibreglass GT wing. It was too low and not aggressive looking enough for a extreme look. Continued looking around for a higher bracketed one soon....
Scouting the Internet for the past 10 years looking for something affordable yet able to improve the exterior outlook of the 'elegant' looking 1993 Miata, I managed to stumble upon a Japanse website where they were featuring their local Miata.
Sunburst yellow, with centre mounted aluminium double-plated wing with centre exhuast, overfenders, entire custom add-on bodykit. This would be known as the Jubiride MX-5.
One of the mods that I will probably hope to acquire in time: Mazdaspeed Miata MX-5. 173bhp from a soft IHI turbo charger built in stock with the car, improved handling from double wishbone suspension, Bilstein shocks with pro-sport springs, overall weight 50-50 distribution....sighz....too bad they discontinued it for the production and sales of the NCs coming out this year soon 2005.

Then one day, the Miata started off as this,

it became this.

Inspired by F&F, 2F2F, I decided to fix on neon undercarriages..

This is what I had to touch up on my front bumper recently

Recently, I accepted the invitation to feature my ride at the DreamCars Asia 2005 @ Singapore Expo. These are some of the pics taken at the qualifying round at Kallang carpark.

Will keep you guys updated as the event is upcoming next week, and will post more pics then! See you at Singapore Expo! =)
Took this in the dark, with my reflective white decals showing clearly...

Another pic by someone else who spotted my car parked at a local shopping area...=P
Some recent additions to the growing page...=)
Enjoy!
Taken at our local Singapore Botanical Gardens, I took some pretty nice photos of my ex's NB and my NA with our undercarriage lights on....
________________________________________________________________
Just got my hands FINALLY on those ever elusive TSIs (Turn Signal Indicators) for the Miata, and a little D-I-Y spray paint. =)
Finally, a LITTLE more air running into my front bay. I was going to cut a huge airdam in front already!! Desperation...
Some updated pics, and considering tearing off my decals already because of too much unwanted attention on the streets.=(

Sorry guys, if you notice, I usually like the night shots better than day shots. Can get the chance to check out my undercarriage lites. =)
On one of the recent roadtrips with the local MiataClubSG to Port Dickson, Malaysia....with my ex's ride beside me....pretty nice drive up north, but the damn convoy was too slow!
Think we just drive a little too fast for the common folks...hehe.....=)
Some recent pics last year 2005....

This was an aerial photoshot during a stay at Singapore's tallest hotel....

Two line-up pics when I met up with some of the local drifters from DriftClubSG at Kallang...

Updated pics (2006):
If you guys ever decide to change a paint coding, try 27A aka Pearl Red....its got that shiny glitter in sunlight and will sparker at nite upon reflection.....=)
_______________________________________________________________
Munkee FINALLY came out of the workshop after 2 whole weeks of torture...and some neat spraying! I got the similar coding as the new RX8s....decided not to go back with the Classic Red because something brighter and sparkier would be a nice change. I was actually contemplating on fuschia pink, and do the car up Hello Kitty style....but that's for the future....=)
Here are some pics from my Canon digi and some low res ones from my mobile phone's camera:
When Munkee was still over at the workshop and had to do some last minute touch up on the glazing and polishing before being released.
Had not enough time to take some nice day pics, but here is a close up at the new paint job on Munkee's front C-West front end...

With the signature head lights of the NAs.....

Will be taking more pics during the day when time permits! I'm just glad and relieved that Munkee is back on da streets...damn, you guys have to see the amount of stuff that had to be replaced JUST by someone crashing into me...anyways, praying that no more accidents for the time being...not really cheap to splurge on replacement parts nowadays....
