Capt's 89 Turbo-Brick
This is my 745ti (760 turbo) project car. It has alot of my time + $ into it from heavy use over the years, so it's time for another overhaul....
Our project 1989 Volvo 760 was a heavy, slow 190 hp grocery hauler in every way, with the exception of two major details. It's safe ; (the 700 series cars are known for their high level of pasanger protection) and it's motor came with the Garrett T5 model turbo, which produces a good, reliable high rpm boost to the 2.3 l motor. With help from local performance parts retailers and friends who know more than I, this car will become a high performance 300h.p. + turbo brick. Right now, it's been dyno'ed @ 236 hp at the rear. Yep, this isn't yer mom's Volvo - but it's still your dad's. I want a brick that smokes, so good-bye $$ here we go.....
