This is my 1999 Cavalier Z24
The car was untouched when I purchased it. The focus of the car is clean lines and fast times :) The exterior and interior of the car have remained in fairly stock form with the exception of a few small modifications here and there.

The goal for this car is a hefty one, i'd like to be one of the few 3rd gen j-bodies to reach a 12 second 1/4 mile pass with the 2.4 LD9 twin cam engine. With current upgrades the car runs in 13.52@106mph and I have yet to run the 1/4 on the 55 shot of nitrous.

UPDATE : After a year of saving and building my engine for this sole purpose it's official, the GM Supercharger is on and running.
The current engine upgrades are as follows:
-GM Supercharger Eaton M45 blower
-Pulley Boys quick exchange hub
-Pulley boys 2.6" pulley (10.5psi)
-Ford Brown Top 38lb 370cc injectors
-Walbro 255lph fuel pump
-Accel adjustable fuel pressure regulator
-Vortech 4:1 FMU
-Apexi SAFC2 (super air fuel converter)
-Cooling Mist Be Cool Alcohol Injection
-Gatorback belt
-RKSport upper and lower engine mounts
-RSM Racing 59mm internally polished TB
-Fully ported and polished race head
-3 angle valve job
-SCE copper head gasket
-Stainless valves
-High rev 10,000 rpm valve springs
-titanium retainers
-Custom ground Camshafts
-Custom CAI
-Team Green Air Filter
-RKSport hi-voltage coil pack
-RKSport hi-volt plug connectors
-NOS 55 shot dry system
-NOS bottle heater
-NOS high flow valve
-Pacesetter header and 2.5" downpipe
-Custom 2.25" exhaust, high flow cat, brospeed muffler
-Casper Electronics O2 simulator
-Autometer CF nitrous and A/F gauges
-B&M Short throw shifter

Here's the newest upgrade to the cavy's sound system. The new deck is a JVC EXAD LHX500 series, touch screen display, PiCT technology, too many fancy gizmos to list on here, im a big fan thus far. This summer a small system is in the works, possibly a single 12" woofer, or 2 10's going into a custom fiberglass box.

Why the hell didn't I know about this friggin car club when I had my eclipse? That sucks, all my moron friends were like "whats the point of doin all that to your car?" Finally some people in the area that respect it, oh well, its gone now, you guys accept SUVs? Ive got an 02 Eddie Bauer now, starting to do some work on it. Interested?
