Hey thanks for taking a look! This is my 1953 gmc.Pic was taken at a local car show!I bought this truck off a family friend who in turn bought it about 13 years ago.I always wanted to buy this truck ever since I started driving, But he never wanted to sell it,that was until about 4 years ago when I saw it with a for sale sign.Thats when I decided to buy it....That was the beginning of the end of my bank account!

Mid way through 1947, GMC introduced a totally re-styled light truck. The appearence of this model was attractive, deviod of excess trim, smoothed and streamlined. Large GMC lettering was mounted at the top of a simple multi-tiered grille with broad horizontal bars. The headlights were mounted totally within the front fenders and small small, circular parking lights were positioned directly below the headlightsDrivers were quick to appreciate the cabs improved ventilation, visibility and revamped front suspention.Big news for 1953 was the availability of a 4-speed hydra-matic transmission option.Options available for 1953 were:rear bumper, bumper gaurds, radio, heater, clock, cigarette lighter, radio antenna, seat covers and a chrome grille

That is one sweet ride I had a 1951 painted corvette yellow I use to drive all over Edmonton. How much you asking I have been looking for one for some time and ended up buying a corvette instead.
