Exterior/Interior

I replaced most of the bulbs inside and out with LEDs from superbrightleds.com. I couldn't get the tailight LEDs to play nice with the car. They light up properly...only they cause my ABS warning light to come on and disable my cruise control...yay. Until I solve that mystery, regular bulbs are staying there.

It looks long due to the angle but it only comes up to the same height as the roof of the car. I lose some signal quality since I live fairly far away from most radio stations but I can live with it.

Azrael88's 1995 Pontiac Grand AmAwhile back I retrofitted some Hella 50mm low-beam projector modules into a spare set of headlights. I also used some Hella FF50 driving lights since they're good replacements for the now absent high-beams. Essentially my entire forward lighting system is now Hella. The GTS covers I used for a lens was a bad idea. One flew off the car on the highway and I can't find anymore replacements. Since all the optics were weatherproof on their own, being lenseless isn't doing any harm but it does look a little weird.

I also custom made a white LED-lit pontiac arrowhead with a reflective blue vinyl overlay. All I did was take 4 white LEDs and shaved them down. Wired them in series with a switch. Then cut the arrowhead from a broken and useless cd jewelcase. Just sand the arrowhead down a little to give it a frosted look to disperse the light more evenly. My only complaint is that the epoxy I used turned yellowish so I'll redo it when my car get's repainted.

I swapped most of the LEDs in the shift indicator to white. Didn't bother with 2 since using that gear does more harm than good and I never use it anyways. But I took a pic of it for comparison. I can already tell I'm going to be annoyed by this mod when driving on the highways at night.

Had some red LEDs lying around too so I thought: "why not use one for reverse?" :D

This is a really nice GA. The work you have done is awesome and has paid off. I only wish I had the incentive and cash (among time) to do what you have done!
