GMC Jimmy 5.7L V8

Wassup everyone, this is me and my Jimmy. I am a local stoner in Utah, and a professional Stereo System Installer.
Enjoy my site!
Update: October 26, 2004
A few changes, I decided to return the FM Modulator and just hack the Kenwood CD Changer Input for my Laptop. I have a picture available explaining the pinouts, and how to connect an Auxilary Input. I also bought an original slim Kenwood remote. That's all for know, time to go blaze.
Update: (old)
Alright everyone, I have my new deck installed. My stock radio however, was not standard, and I did not want to cut into my dash. So I bought a Generic Underdash Mounting Kit, and mounted the deck to the front of my center console. I also bought an FM Modulator, so now I can play my Laptop's MP3s through my stereo. Midrange speakers are still stock, and no subs yet, but that will happen next payday. I also built an interface that connects my ECU from my truck to my Laptop. It's really cool, it gives me all kinds of information on my engine, like RPMs, MPH, Knock-Count, Engine Service Codes, etc. The interface I used is posted on this site if anyone decides they want one too. (Only GM vehicles, Early 80's till Mid 90's)

Wassup everyone, thanks for checking out my page. I just bought my new truck, it's a 1987 GMC Jimmy, Sierra Classic Edition.
Engine Specifications:
Torque: 275 ft. lbs.
Horsepower: 250 hp
Cubic Inches: 350 - Original GMC 350
Liters: 5.7L
Miles: 151960 - Accurate
I plan to install a decent stereo system, and play my MP3s through it by way of my laptop. I also plan to buy a mounting bracket for my laptop. My laptop also has Composite/S-Video input capabilities, so I plan to hook up my PS2 and XBOX up to both my laptop and my system.
I plan to do that within a week, so keep checking back.
I have my current design plans and wiring schematics available if you want to see them, they are on page 2.
Also, if anyone knows the actual HP/Torque of my engine, please inform me in my guestbook.
If you'd like, I also have my other 2 cars on CarDomain.com, just check out my 'Friends' list.
Peace
P.S. All you stoners out there, keep on tokin'.
