Whats Up Fellow Mopar Guys and Gals!
First car show, 2000 Mopars at Carlisle. Carlisle PA.
If your the numbers matching type guy, this car is not for you. Not to say that it's not original, but to say that every part of the drivetrain has been blown up, bent, broken or stolen at one time or another in its life.
What makes this 440-6 Pack car special is the fact that I have the entire history of the car from dealership to the present. I have video taped all of the registered owners and have even contacted the original salesman who originally ordered the car for the showroom. Pretty Cool or what? The salesman remembered the car as soon as I described it. It seems that it was "his warranty nightmare"! If you are interested in the full story on the car, find a copy of April 2001, Mopar Action magazine. The story is told from the "cars" point of view. I am thinking of putting together a video and DVD of the cars history. Highlights will include, interviews with the original owners as well as local people that remember the car in it's Stamford, CT street racing days. And the cars unveiling party with most owners in attendence. Its just an idea. I would like your opinion on this project. What do you think of this idea? E-Mail you comments to joseph21@cox.net
UPDATE: Thanks for all your interest in the project. I have recently sold the car and the dealer I sold it to told me it went to a doctor in Oklahoma City. I would like to continue following the car's history. If you have seen this car, at shows or know where it is, please drop me a line and tell me any information you know about it. Thanks Joe V.
