Latest Projects/ News:
February 6th, 2006: Well I am back from Hallett and I have once again decreased my top time by about 4 seconds. My current top track time is 1:38:942. My old time was about 1:42:00. The only thing I have changed on the Miata is add harnesses. I also posted one of the top times in HST and was in 3rd out of all the drivers that had transponders. The other cars ranged from the Chevy Z06, to the Subaru Imprezza WRX STI, to turbocharged Miatas, to the tuned and stock Honda S2000. I also am becoming more and more consistent with my track times. Once again Kudos to innovative for getting harnesses in and ready for last Saturday. There are pictures of the event on page 2.

My Current Mods are:
*Flyin` Miata adjustable cam gear
*Magnecor 8.5mm spark plug wires
*K&N Typhoon high airflow intake
*ACT stage 2 Kevlar clutch, and a 8 pound aluminum flywheel from Flying Miata.
*Racing Beat headers (2.25in diameter)
*Mazdaspeed/Flying Miata Midpipe and high airflow cat, and resonator (2.25in Diameter)
*5Zigen Muffler (2.50in Diameter)
*Tokiko racing springs and gas filled shocks that are adjustable (5)
*Voodoo Sift knob
*Programmable Shift Light
*Porterfield R4S sport brake pads (front & rear)
*Cobra Monaco Racing Seat
*A breather filter
*Track Dog header heatsheild

And here is what the car came with...

The 2002 Mazda Miata SE's included the following:

*Unique paint color(yellow),
*6 speed transmission,
*Bose audio system w/ 6 CD in dash CD in dash changer & 4 speakers 2x 8" and 2 tweeters.
*Black leather Nardi steering wheel
*Tan leather seats
*Black leather E-brake handle

The body kit is the optional Mazda Appearence Package 1, which consists of the large front air dam, the large side skirts, and the large rear mud guards, and the rear spoiler.

I took the first three pictures in the next group with my camera phone so the resolution sucks. I have better pictures on page 2 of me at Hallett Motor Racing Circut, and on page 3 I have some pics of my upgrades.

Old News:
July 27th, 2005: I was at Hallett last week and have posted the new pictures on page 2, also I have posted a picture of my plug wires on page 3.

June 27th, 2005: Just got back from Grand Junction, co, and Hallett Raceway in Hallett, Ok. Got signed up for Flyin' Miata's Open House, and raced at Hallett. Also While I was at FM I got new plug wires. I'll have a pic of them soon. I do however have my pics from Hallett up on page 2.

August 19th-22nd, 2005: Gone to Grand Junction Colorado for the Flyin' Miata open house. I'll have pictures on page 4 and I've added a 5th page for my garage.

August 24th, 2005: I am back from Colorado and have posted pictures from the trip on page 4. Also I have added a few pics of my car on page one and on page 3 I have finally posted some shots of the rest of my exhaust upgrades. I also have a couple new mods on the car so be sure to read on or go to page 3 and check them out. Also in order to lighten up the car I have removed the ground effects. I think the Miata looks cleaner with out them.

Sept. 2nd, 2005: I have posted pictures on page 2 of my weekend at Hallett Raceway. My average time of about 1min 47sec, was smashed by my new record average time of 1min 42sec, and my new record around the track is 1:41:36! I have also added a page for any media my car has been published in.

Oct. 7th, 2005: I have updated page 6 with a new picture.

Oct. 8th, 2005: I have installed a new Cobra racing seat (Monaco model [fixed back]). I do have more info on page 3 as well as more photos. I currently am in the process of creating a custom mounting bracket so that the chair will be able to mount in the Miata. I will have pictures and instructions once I am finished. I should have time on the 20th and 21st of October, just before I leave for Hallett. I'll have post the pictures next week from both Hallett and the installation.

October 23rd, 2005: I just got back from the last scheduled HST/COMMA event of the year at Hallett. I have posted the pictures of me out on the track (page 2) as well as pictures of my seat in my car (Page 3). I have also remodeled page 3 and added some pictures to the list-o-mods. Go check it out!

December 7th, 2005: I found a satellite image of my car while I was at lunch! Scroll down to see it.

January 23rd, 2006: I am trying a new set of tire out. I have switched from the Toyo T1S to the Toyo T1R ( http://www.toyo.com/tires/tire_lines/sports_car/tr1.html# [copy this link into your adress bar to see the T1R's specs]). Toyo claims that it has stronger, harder tire walls and that it has improved handleing and grip in dry and wet conditions, and also has a shorter stoping distance in dry and wet conditions. So far I have been impressed, but the ultiment tes will come on Febuary 4th, 2006, when I take the Miata to Hallett and put her in her paces, weather permitting. Also I have finnaly got sitting in my garage a M2 Hard Dog Hard Core, with a Hard Dog bolt-in harness bar and Willans 3" harness pads.

January 28th, 2006: Ok, I have finished the installation of the harnesses, roll bar, and harness bar and I am ready for Hallett this year, to see some pictures of the new stuff in the car go to page 3 and scroll down. Now its time to focus on my brakes and cooling abilities. Also I have posted some new images of my car on page 1. Scroll down and take a look to see tehm for your self.
