Well Heres my project.

Started out as my grandpas old farm truck, he bought it for $75.

I graduated from high school and went to Wyotech. Chopped my best friends 65 Chevy Panel 6 inches and started to gain an intrest for custom vehicles.

So I brought the 47 Ford home from grandpas place and started.

I started with replaceing the floors. Hand made by myself.

Then moved on to the door. Fixed the farmer fixed hinge to get the door to fit properly.

After that was all taken care of a co-worker, a buddy, and myself proceeded to chop the top one saturday. Was going to take 6 inches out, but took 5 first to see how it looked. We liked the look and left it at 5 inches give or take a tick or two.

Then working after hours at the shop I continued to weld the chop back together as well as the door tops.

After the chop was welded up I tackled the frame. I put a 76 firebird front subframe on for the suspension as well as the rearend from the same car.

Then put the front end back on to see what it looked like.

Did the rear C notch and dropped my 302 out of a Merc Grand Marquis on the frame.

Then put a firewall in so I may be able to use the truck for my wedding. After I got engaged we decided to maybe try and use the truck. So I had a deadline to get it driveable.

Since the front end is so ugly we got the hairbrained idea to use the front fenders on the back...So we did it.

Fabbed up a box and solid tailgate.

Then it was time to get some color on this baby.

Next gotta wire it up to be able to fire it up.

Fabbed up a shifter to go with the custom truck.

The last pic was me trying to get brakelights for my wedding day to make it all legal.

Then gotta take it for a ride. First my dad then my buddy and I

Heres how she looks now and also the new front fenders that are goin on her.

Shortened the fenders to make them look a little more like they are supposed to.

I got the running baords kinda in place now. Its starting to take place once again.
