zinnsautobody's 1953 Ford F-Series Pick-Up

This is the beginning of a beautiful relationship. For my Birthday this year, I found and purchased a 1953 Ford Pickup on E-Bay Ready to be restored &/or turned into a Hot Rod!! This page will outline the progress of this masterpiece from start to finish. Here's what I have to start with. A 1969 Camaro Subframe with a 9" Ford Rear End. A Custom Made Bed, not including the floor; Tailgate Original, but covered with new skin ( Use it or Replace it?? ) Fiberglass Front and Rear Fenders. An Engine, assumed to be good, but not yet tested and/or tried. Some OLD Wheels, most likely will be replaced ( Maybe some spinners?? ) Two Front Bumpers. The Original Hood, a little rusty ( Maybe replace with fiberglass and make a Tilt?? ) The Original Cab is there but gutted and has some ROUGH fabrication, may try to replace. The Original Core Support Both Original Doors are there, but ROUGH and RUSTY, will probably replace and make shaved handles with poppers. All the Original Glass is there except for one Door Glass. The Original Steering Column and Wheel. And some Original Misc. Dash Pieces. You can see the rest of the pictures on page two. That's what I have. Keep in touch to see what I end up with !!
