..:: Exhaust Overview::..

> Pacesetter Headers

blindeyed's 1995 Pontiac Firebird

Cost $338 from Full Throttle Performance.

Comparision:
Can you say, restrictive exhaust? Those stock manifolds are horrible compared to the new headers.

> Borla 3" Cat-back

Cost $555 off eBay from RKSport. Normally retailed at $800 something. So I got a pretty good deal on it. How often do you see a complete Borla cat-back system for under $600? My point exactly.

Above you'll see the cutout and the 4 different plates that adjust the flow and the sound

Shop install cost: $400
Total cost: $1,293

Here's a shot of what the passenger side manifold looked like before it came off. And the new gaskets I bought in place of the crappy cardboard ones.

And now afterwards, completely installed.

Sounds absolutely beautiful! Better than I expected. I actually had the muffler shop run 2.5" up to where the cutout is, before the muffler. Figured I'd stay on the safe side in case 3" was too big.

Hey, linked here from FTV6. Nice car! You're one of the few I've seen with the Borla! I hope to grab one of those myself at some point! And wow, those rims made a world of difference! Very nice! Glad to hear the Aluminum D/S makes a nice difference. I'm going to be putting one in soon myself!
