Well after driving around in an 85 Toyota Camry for 6 months and turning 17 my dad decided to get me a car. First we looked at getting a 4 door, non-turbo R32 Skyline but that car was sold and with it went the amount I was allowed to spend on a car. Next we looked at some VL commodores as my dad really had his hear set on getting me one. Luckily they were all shit boxes and a very unlikely circling by my dad in the newspaper lead us to the MX6. Dad wasn't keen on the turbo but was amazed at the breaks and for 3400 the price was right. We spent a day and a half just cleaning it up, draining and replacing all the fluids all the sort of service stuff. The rocker cover gasket was leaking so we got a newer one, replaced that and haven't seen a leak since. The rear wing has been removed as it needs to be painted, it's flaking, and the uncovered parts of the boot lid have also faded badly. Well that?s all for my introduction to my car. Here are some photos I took of it. Hope you like.
