So I decided to get new brakes before heading to the track (road coarse)and while i was at it, I thought it would be good to just upgrade my front brakes to the 6th gen 12.6" rotors. To do this, i needed all of the front brake components from a 6th gen (calipers, rotors, pads, and hardware).
I purchased all the parts needed and installed my new brakes on all four corners. When it came time to bleed them, i found i wasn't getting any pressure at all, and the pedal was sinking all the way to the floor. I bled them several times with no success. So what was the next step? I couldn't drive my car at all, so of course i had to shell out $65 to have it towed to a mechanic...great...

When my car was being loaded onto the tow truck, it scraped both my LTB and my rear bumper, but not terrible.
So I get to the shop and after waiting a while, the mechanic tells me that he thinks I put the wrong fluid in the car and all the seals from the master cyliner to the calipers had swelled and i was leaking brake fluid. Although I knew this wasn't the case, it still worried me, because i had to take it to Nissan to have them diagnose the problem, and since i used the wrong fluid (I used dot 4 instead of dot 3), I was thinking they were going to find some way to void my warranty.
I drove the car with no brakes down the road to the stealership, and they said they'd look at it. About 1/2 hour later, i get a call and they tell me i have two left calipers! DOH!! So I call up the dealership i ordered the calipers from in Austin, and they sent a new one in. The next day, i got my car back, and they charged my $260!! changing a caliper requires removing 4 bolts and unplugging a brake line!! Oh well, i deserved it for not checking the calipers first...
The turnout is great, however. My brake pedal is very firm, and with the larger rotors, better pads, and more pad surface, i get virtually no brake fade at high temps. Even after I beat the crap out of my car at MSR (motor sport ranch) my brakes felt perfectly confident and there was no fade. They look good too, if i might say so myself :)
As you can see, there isn't much clearance because these brakes are so big, but they do fit!
I also painted my brake calipers silver with black nissan logos. I used the G2 caliper paint system, and had plenty of paint to spare.
