After months of research, I ultimately decided on the Scion tC as the perfect replacement for the '93 Ranger my father was lending me.
On March 2nd, I entered my local Toyota-Scion dealership with the intention of ordering an Indigo Ink Pearl tC with a 6-CD Changer and side airbags. On March 5th, my $500 deposit and official order was placed, with the help of my father as a co-signer; apparantly, $900/month is too low of an income for a new car. Hey, I can deal.
Good news came swiftly, when I was told a Black Sand Pearl tC, 5 spd. with side airbags, would be delivered in a matter of days. The only change was the color, and being my second choice, I made the decision to go for it. Friday, the 11th, only four days prior to my 19th birthday, I went to the dealership with my family, filled out the necessary paperwork, put down my remaining payment, $5000 I'd been saving up since August of '04, and picked up my black beauty, exactly as described, for the short ride to work in a matter of minutes. Needless to say, it was a good day.
