bpfest's 1988 Ford Festiva

bpfest's 1988 Ford Festiva Here she is, The mighty BP. The rebuild on the engine is complete and the sad transmission is hopefully salvageable. I pulled an engine and transaxile from a 92 escort gt and took the computer too. There are many problems I will need to fix because the stock festiva is carburated! :( oh yea i think i am crazy too to do this swap.. 127 horse bp engine in a festiva.. this ought to be interesting.

right now these are the current upgrades-

The brake system is from an aspire with larger rotors. with this swap, I pulled 14" wheels of of an escort but they are just steel.

bpfest's 1988 Ford Festiva The stereo has grown for a while, I have 2 amps in a custom enclosure with the mids and the tweeters sitting on top af dual 10" pioneer subs. the last reading on decibles was right at 120. Thats the max for my meeter! so i really don't know what the highest is.

Can you explain all the step to make a swap into my 1993 Festiva EFI 1.3 SOHC. I allready buy an Escort GT 1994 1.8 DOHC. I plan to keep the festiva tranny. Can you take some clean pic of: where the wires are plug, the ECU and the new wire plug on it. Did i absolutely have to put an other fuel pump? Answer me to pringles_15@hotmail.com Thank in advance Max!!!

Cool beans. Most people around here use Mazda 1.6l engines. Hope to see some more pictures soon.
