PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO RATE MY RIDE!
Thank you for checking out my 1993 Ford Probe project. Over the past few years I have been putting a lot this hard work and energy into this project because injuries have taken me away from other things that I love to do. Without this project, the last two years would have been very hard to deal with seeing as I have had to overcome the physical pain of two broken legs, compartment syndrome, and surgery and the emotional pain of not being allowed to be as active. So as you take a look at these pictures take note of that and appreciate why I am doing this. None of this would have happened without the help, skills, and encouragement from my Dad, I owe him a lot!

PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO RATE MY RIDE!
2/16/09 - A little over a year ago I wrote an essay to the editor of HOT ROD Magazine as a thank you to my Dad for all the help he gave me in getting this car to where it is today. To my surprise I found out this morning that a paraphased version of it got published in the April 2009 issue!

1/13/07 - Cardomain used my car in a banner add! I am so excited! I feel like this is a major accomplishment and a major reward for all the hard work that went into it. Thanks Cardomain.

Brief Fall 2009 UPDATE!
The car had another safe summer, but brief summer with the highlight being a 2500 mile trip on the HOTROD Magazine PowerTour from Madison, WI to Bristol, TN. It was one hell of a time and a real treat to share it with my Dad. On an even more exciting note, the Street Rod Probe is being prepared to go to the next level. Those who have seen the HOTROD Magazine article from April 08 may have caught word of the possibility of a RWD 2003/2004 Mustang Cobra 4.6L DOHC swap. Well that possibilty has gotten much closer to becomming a reality with the acquistion of an engine, transmission, and wiring harness from an 03 Cobra! While this is only the beginning of many parts I still need to aquire it is an exciting step forward towards making the dream reality.
2003 Cobra 4.6L DOHC 25,000 original miles from a rear ended car

The 03 Cobra 4.6L DOHC features a cast iron block and forged internals

2.76 pulley Eaton M112 ~ 16psi

Estimated horsepower with 2.76 pulley = 460+

Wide open throttle! The first chance I get to do this in the car should be exciting.
