April 5 2006

The car is back on the road again, with the help of my girlfriend's brother we installed a new head gasket and got rid of all of the junk that was in my engine. The only thing I need to change now are the rusted pipes and a few small things. Check back for more updates and leave me comments....

March 5 2006

Recently my car blew a head gasket and its been sitting. But there still is hope. It would cost me around 500 dollars to get it fixed at a garage. Ive decided to repair my car myself because it will only cost me under 100 dollars to do it myself with the assistance of a buddy of mine. So until then I am unable to use my vehicle but come back for updates.

Custom made by me seats

Well I finally been able to install 2 seats that ive been working on for the past few days. Let me tell you it was NOT an easy task considering that they are made for a completely different type of vehicle (but I got them for free so even better deal) It took alot of determination, swearing, patience, cutting, drilling, and lots of tunes to get these in my car but they are in and they are higher than the stock shadow seats so there is a difference but it was worth it. The covers were done by me with alot of glue, needle and thread. Below are some of the pictures of the seats.

This is my 1991 dodge shadow 2.2 L. I am in the process of doing custom work on my interior. I am currently working on a design for a console and I am designing the door panels. I also am in the mist of coming up with the right combination of colours for the interior (Im thinking chrome and blue). I will have new pics of my custom work as it progresses. If you would like to sign my guestbook with comments and suggestions plz do so.

UPDATE NOVEMBER 18 2004

When I purchased my car there were a few things missing so lately ive been going to a local auto recycler and picking up the parts that ive been missing. There mosly small parts but they do complete the interior and exterior of my car. I am still deciding on which kind of colours to go with my interior and lately ive been quite busy with other things so I really havent had the time to do much. But when I do, I will put up some pictures.

UPDATE OCTOBER 12 2004

I recently got fed up with the chrome part that was on my bumper so I decided to remove it. Here is before and after pictures of my work.

nice lil EEK I like the seats, ......... I put in the sun roof in the shadow from a junkyard car, yes it was used, it was a universal so the worst part was cuting the roof. Do not do it! I will never do it again, liked to scared me for life. All it takes is one slip and the roof of your car is gone no less a finger. have it done by a good shop even if you have to drive 100 miles. you can buy it new for $200.00 or so plus labor!!
