DIY- Windows Module Update

Using the lock feature on the oem remote as an activation will cause a bit of a problem. ex. when the windows are down, locking the door from the inside will activate the window roll-up.

The oem keyless remote don't have another channel for me to work with. I have decided to get a keyless remote unit. I went to ebay and got a keyless remote. Here's a link:

Here is the module link:

I ran 3 wires to the driver and passenger door. The roll up wires from the switch will be need to be cut. One wire will go to the switch and one will go the motor. The 3rd wire will be use as the power source (red wire). I use the driver door as the power and the passenger as the ground wire(black wire). I don't want to open up the center console and look for the power source again.

Next, I connected the window module to the 3 wires. Tested it with tester. Now, I have the activation wire coming from the window module.

I need to figure out which button will activate the module. I picked the open button on the keyless remote. (Why not the lock button on the remote you ask? Button don't work. I got a crappy product) Hook up all the wires. Make sure all the wires are power and grounded. If one wires is not connected correctly, than it will not work.

Dress up the wires and you are good to go. Enjoy...

Do you have a link to the module you used to do the window roll-up mod?
