This is the old 89 GT other wise know as "The beast" I had this car for 3 years and it was a work in progress. I had bought it pretty much stock with a clean interior, working a/c and it had nice silver paint for $3,000 and went way over my head with mods. But at least I was able to put everything into the coupe. The day the junk yard came to pick it up I was pretty sad, they paid me $40 bucks for it. R.I.P

Here is the 306 in the 89 in its prime, and with the EFI. The EFI combo goes as follows: Trick Flow intake, FMS 24lbs injectors, Paxton adj. fuel regulator, Edelbrock 70mm T-body and EGR spacer, Pro-M 75mm MAF, C&L inlet tube, Stock air box with panel K&N and a 190lph walbro in-tank fuel pump. This combo on the 306 in the 89 went a best of 103.5 mph on the 1/4

Here is a pic of the complete 306 shortblock me and my friend built, you can find the specs on the list on the later pages. Total cost for this 306 was $800 bucks without the cam, my friend threw in a stock damper, stock motor mounts and a new stock water pump.

Here is a pic of my Dart Jr. (World Products Jr.) the day I picked them up. What a deal!!!! I traded my friend my old home ported GT-40's with steeda 1.6 roller rockers (heads were worth about $400)For the Dart's + $500 cash, and he included a set of 7/16 stud mount Comp Reds. Total cost of the Dart's with the Comp rockers $900. Considering they have about $1,500 worth of porting plus the cost of the stock heads $1,000, figure in the Comps at $260, and upgraded valve springs Coast put on good for 650 lift. I think that was a damn good deal. And let me tell you these heads woke up the 306 like there was no tomorrow, there is no comparison to the GT-40's!!!! I have the flow sheet on these from Coast Performance and they flow 255 cfm (intake side) at .500 lift. Everyone I've mentioned these to say 2 things, 1- I stole these 2- they completly outflow my 306 and should be on a stroker or a 351. My friend regreted it about a month later and always asked me to sell them back to him, even offered me $1,000 plus his AFR's 185's at one point and time.
