OVERVIEW

NO, I do not think "my car is all that". I do however realize that this car is about 15 years old and that it runs great! Also incase your wondering this is very much a work in progress. Little by little i'm fixing it and maybe one day i'll have what i'm trying to achive.

SOUND

So let's start with the sound and move on from there. I'm running a Sony Xplod 10 disk mp3 cd player located in the trunk.

The changer is wired directly into the power antenna, this causes a lower strain on the battery. When the radio is turned on the antenna rises and the changer is turned on.

Recently i've added a set of 2 10" Pyle subwoofers. They are in enclosed in a Pyle bandpass box. Their combined power is 1000 watts. Being pushed by a clarion amp. All this is wired together using a Rockford wiring kit.

Heres a picture of the entire dashboard including the wired commander remote. Remot allows for id3 tags and entire track names including the artist and album. Clearly there is the stock head unit. Why is that you ask? Well this allows me to keep the stereo control loated on the steering wheel. It also let's me control the 5-band equalizer. From the radio to the speakers, All speakers are the stock boss speakers (yes boss). Speakers include: 2 tweeters located on the dashboard, 1 2-way speaker on each front door and a pair of 2-ways behind the passenger seats.
