Dash plaques from various shows we hit.

Won second place at the above show.

Actually we had 3 choices of things to do that day.
Blue suede cruise at Norwalk, Just watching no cruising. Nostalgic racing is one of my favs.
But GOODGUYS took over the event this year. It went from $10 to watch and race, to $20 to watch and $85 to race.
Theres was another benefit car show connected to Lorain County Hospital.
But we got a flyer in the mail for the Nursing home benefit show, and our neighbor Jim was staying there since his stroke over a year ago. So it seemed like the right one to do. We got to talk to Jim for a couple hours, along with all the other patients wheeling around checking out the rides, enjoying the oldies and great weather.
There were only 30 cars there and I really just go for the dash plaques. But yes, I'm addicted to trophys!
I really didn't expect to win. It seems most vote for the usuals. Camaros, Chevelles, Mustangs, Etc. Most think we own a "race car" and It's not a "real" car.
I prefer going to the benefit type show, just to help.
Though our car is far from a show car. Plenty of flaws!
And some parts are still rough.
At the end of the show, we were one of the last to leave and the promoter of the show, Mr Justice, stopped us and asked if we would do a burnout up the driveway. Payment for the throphy he joked.
I asked if we would get into trouble for it. He assured me he would take all the blame. So we lit-em-up, just like my power video. It was a blast!!
