The process of a Pro Street transformation.
First some tires. Reeeaal big ones & little skinny ones.TJCoyote59's 1975 Chevrolet Vega A Ford 9 inch rear narrowed from 65" to 34".TJCoyote59's 1975 Chevrolet Vega

TJCoyote59's 1975 Chevrolet Vega Out with the old 239,000 mile 4cyl engine. Time to clean up this mess.TJCoyote59's 1975 Chevrolet Vega

I used the Trans-Dapt kit but had to cut and add about 2 inches to the tranny mount to make it fit.

TJCoyote59's 1975 Chevrolet Vega TH350 Fresh rebuild with QuickDraw conveter.
TJCoyote59's 1975 Chevrolet Vega Even had to cut & weld the V8 Monza oil pan that I thought would fit.
A Mini-Starter is required. TJCoyote59's 1975 Chevrolet Vega
TJCoyote59's 1975 Chevrolet Vega Going to need some extra cooling, that 4cyl one wont cut it. Had to make special brackets for the big 4 core.(part hangs below the core support).
TJCoyote59's 1975 Chevrolet Vega Homemade lower radiator bracket that ties into K-member.
Minimum clearance for the fan!!!TJCoyote59's 1975 Chevrolet Vega
Not by choice. Maybe if I go aluminum, I'll try in front of the core support.
