my trunk before............

my trunk after, well roughly ;-D all done by me

the floor after i traced from a posterboard templet and cut out

I first got the idea because i always wanted to try to do a false floor myself. Most versions i've seen seemed pretty easy to make. Cut the wood to fit trunk, put some dolleys underneath the floor for support. Couple holes to show off the amps. Real simple stuff

covered the wood with some leftover tweed........floor installed

Most false floors i saw were the same. so to be a lil different i decided to cut out the letters MTX since i was using their amps n subs. Wanted mine to be a lil different from everybody else, yet not look too over the top

The amps underneath........the general picure

My brother Memo did most of the wiring since he has been doing it close to 10 years on the side. I stuck to all the woodwork and upholstery. We still got yet to get some fans to cool off the amps, maybe some LEDs, and clean up all the wiring since u can see it through the plexiglass, n get a better distribution block

Final assembly... I installed a cap to keep pmy system juiced up witout having to buy a second battery n better alternator

Wanted to see it all together but still need to reupholster the sub box, i wanna make this look nice n clean all together. All together lookin good, but it looks half assed right bout now

THE FINAL PRODUCT

As you can see I hid the wiring for that sleek n clean look,
I also used this type of wood so that the wood underneath the false floor has some texture, not so plain, a lil detail that only i would notice

Chex out the size of that distribution block, you can also see the fan i added to cool down the amps towards center of the Left amp,

My new mids n tweeters installed in the doors

my rear mids........ my radio finally installed
please mind the old shifter, boot, and knob

I FIND IT EXTREMELY ANNOYING WHEN PEOPLE LOOK AT MY SYSTEM N START TALKIN. "O U ONLY HAVE 4 MIDS N 2 TWEETERS. I HAVE LIKE FUKIN 20 MIDS N 3 12'S. I CAN HAVE OUTBUMP U ANYDAY. MOST OF YOU ARE FAMILIAR WIT THE SHOW OVERHAULIN, DO YOU EVER SEE THE PROFESSIONALS PUTTIN THAT STUFF IN THERE? HELL NO! MOST PEOPLE TURN IT UP N ALL U HEAR ARE THEIR SUBS GOIN (CRACK, CRACK, BOOM, CRACK)N ABSOLUTLELY NO VOICE. MY PHILOSPHY IS IF U WANT A DECENT SOUNDING SYSTEM, IT ALL QUALITY, NOT QUANITY. N WHY TRY TO IMPRESS? THE DAMN MUSIC IS FOR YOU, NOT THE PEOPLE LOOKIN AT UR CAR. IM PAST THE STAGE OF MY LIFE WHERE ALL I WANT TO HERE IS THE THUMPS N BOOMS N ABSOLUTELY NO VOICE OR BACKGROUNDS. IT STUPID. NOW, UNLESS U BUILDING A SPL SYSTEM, IT A WASTE OF TIME. TRUTH IS I CAN OUTBUMP N OUTSOUND A GOOD AMOUNT OF PEOPLE N STILL HAVE BETTER QUALITY SOUND THEN THEY DO ANYDAY. IT CALLED A "SYSTEM" IT ALL PARTS COMBINED, NOT JUS ONE THAT STANDS OUT. DON'T MEAN TO SOUND LIKE THE TOUGH GUY, BUT I JUS FED UP WITH THESE LANKYASS PEOPLE N THEY SO CALLED "SYSTEMS".

Love your ST. Paint job is to die for. Orange would have been my second choice. The hotrod pinstripes look sick! Intereor is set to maximum pimpped out-nes! Love it. Eventually my celica will be of a similar caliber. I actually didnt mind the look when you had those super-wide offset wire spoke rims, but thats just because its so different. Did they scrape much? (would be hella illegal in australia). Oh by the way, I am jealous.
