dsm_fury's 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse

PARTS SO FAR:

Full clear taillights w/red LEDs, Diamond-cut clear side-markers (had to wait over a year for the diamond-cut), Motegi MR7 rims in gunmetal, Dunlop Direzza Sport rubber, Custom-built stainless 3" intake w/K&N, OBX headers and high-flow cat., Magnaflow cat-back, real carbon fiber-wrapped aluminum shift knob, Powerslot rotors and Axxis MM pads, Alpine head-unit, Infinity 4" in-dash, Infinity 6-1/2" door, Eclipse 6" x 9" components rear side panel (love the see-through crossovers), Alpine bandpass system in the trunk....I probably forgot a few things but I'll try to update when my busy schedule allows.

I haven't updated in a while (or even logged in for over two years).  The promo pic for my band at the top of this page is the most current picture of the car.  The car was hit in the rear quarter (while parked, no less) and required some cutting and welding.  It remained a daily driver for a while but was parked in favor of a Dodge Durango (it's tough to haul band equipment in an Eclipse).

My little brother is getting to the driving age so this Eclipse will probably remain a project for the two of us.  It'll never be as fast or fun as my old Talon (I'm sure if you know me, you remember that thing screaming down the road) but I'll never spend that much working on one car again.

The red headlights have been removed (they were a pain in the @$$) and the Black Widow Decal on the side has been removed (helps deter cops anyhow).  The car still needs paint on the rear quarter so it'll probably get re-sprayed white to compliment the all-clear lenses.  I plan to fit it for the bigger turbo-style wing before we paint (unless I decide to go the body kit route, but I think I like the stock body with a suspension drop).

The interior is getting overhauled as well(new carpet, seats, etc.) and a lot of custom fiberglass work (man this is a lot of work, wish I could find some pre-built pieces).

Comp T/A tires were replaced in favor of Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec, still 225 width

hey man, i checked out your band myspace. my music tastes have been pretty pretty a.d.d. lately, but i like your guys' sound. I see a little of the Los Lonely Boys and Jonny Lang influence, and it just turns out that i'm a fan of both. :p oh yea, i'd say hold off on the bodykits. at least from my experience, the the stock bumpers are decently low already (my dad took my car out over the summer, and tore part of the front bumper off on a parking lot curb...) also i if you wanna do aftermarket suspension, you'll have to take into account the suspension drop AND the lower bodykit bumper, may not be practical depending on your streets. (yea.. low bodykits and seattle streets dont mix well)
