These B-Body cars were made in Arlington, Texas and have acquired a great following. We are sure GM realized they had finally built a car that would outlast its owner. These cars are overbuilt with heavy duty parts from the ground up, making it the best police cruiser of the decade. With the power of a LT1 260hp, 5.7 liter Corvette motor under the hood, it was and is still known by police officers as the four door Corvette. Surrounding this LT1 motor was the solid body and chassis, with all around anti-lock disc brake system. Thus making this police unit capable of catching almost anything or anyone that tried to elude it. For the most part no one other than the Police officers or car enthusiasts knew what the Caprice LT1 was capable of. Officers now had a secret weapon for vehicle pursuits.
But as all good things must come to a end, in 1996 GM decided to build more Suv's and closed down the line of Caprice and Impala SS cars.
This by far was NOT the end. This was the new beginning, of making this Caprice a classic in automobile history and making it even more desirable to purchase and own.-taken from capricecars.com

jbliss is a fag, plain and simple (and I don't mean gay, but simple a douche, well, maybe gay too.) Look, you have a great car, and it is something that you love and it will blow away anything that Chuecko has. Nice job man
