This is my '78 Bronco when I first got it. It was a little rough around the edges, but still all one piece.

Reconstruction started with a new grill that took off a '78 F-150 sitting in the junkyard.

The original 351M in the Bronco was locked up tight, so horsepower comes from a built 351C that I pulled out of this rusted out '77 F-150.

Here's a picture of the 351C stuffed between the fenders. I made a few minor adjustments (looped the heater hose, removed the A/C, hotwired the neutral safty switch,....), but it all works great and runs like a scalded ass dog. The only real mods are an Edelbrock Preformer intake and 650 Edelbrock carb.

Here are some more recent pictures of my Bronco. I rebuilt the undercarraige (new brakes, u-joints, driveshaft,....). My dad and I stuffed some 3-inch lift coils under the front, and I built some blocks for the back. Then I pulled out the third member and my dad welded the spider gears to make it a "Lincoln Locker". It really hooks up now!

With the 3 extra inches came 35" Ground Hawgs. I got the tires and wheels for the price of hauling them off!

My dad and I finished the motor and got it tuned in pretty good. The Edelbrock is a little off yet, when it idels, but when you punch it, it screams! I have a 750 Demon carb lined up to put on it, and a half-race cam is coming soon.

Well, it's finally done! Here are some pics of it finally rolling out of the shop. Three months and less than $500 invested and this is what I got! Not bad for a cheap mud truck!
