Clear corners are the best exterior mod that can be done to any escort. They give a clean tuner look from a wagon to a fully kitted GT.
Unscrew the phillips head screw on the side of the lamp. Open the hood and undo the phillips screw at the top of a U shaped bracket extending over the headlight. Now grip the corner lamp tightly and pull it off. There is a metal spike still holding it in. Unscrew the bulb casing and replace the clear bulb with the amber one provided with the corners. If you're a risk taker the stock one is slightly amber when not activated for turning.
