Block, Crank, Rods, and Pistons:Like most 454's, this one began its life in a truck. This one is no exception. This one came from a '80's 4x4 1 ton truck. The block was bored and honed to 0.030" over stock. The the stock main bolts were replaced in favor of ARP main studs on all 5 mains. The stock 454 crankshaft and rods were reused, the rods got fitted with ARP Wave-Loc bolts. The pistons are TRW forged pieces. Static compression is just under 10.0:1.
