We purchased this car in March 1994 in Harrison MI. and it was her daily driver until late 1998. It had aprox. 70K original miles when purchased, an average [maaco?] quality repaint, burgandy cloth bench seat interior and white vinyl top. I got a great deal on the black bucket seat interior and decided to do the conversion. It always ran great, but the body didn't fare so well. When the left front spring broke, It was time to retire it. We flipped a coin, and I started the restoration in '99. The complete suspension [front and rear] was replaced/restored, frame and underbody restored/refinished, all new fuel and brake lines, brakes, u-joints, trans and motor mounts, radiator, carb rebuild, w/stripping and fuel tank. New quarter panels were installed along with rust-free doors, decklid and bumpers. The front clip was solid as well as the floor pans and trunk floor. The drive train is all original and the engine bay and luggage compartment are restored/refinished. It has a little over 100K on it now, but it looks, runs and drives like new. It may have been alot of work, but it was worth it to us! The pics below were just added [spring '07] shortly after adding rear spoiler. Thanks for looking.
