Last Dyno run @ 80Kpa boost. To bad the clutch could not keep the engine due to a coolant leak during the dyno run. The hose of the heating system went. That also explains the funny hole in the dyno printout.

This car is considered to be a prototype!! Its not about looks its about fun and functionality.

First sound of the GTI engine 1: 3.68MB MVI movie.
First sound of the GTI engine 2: 3.70MB MVI movie.
Snow drift Rally style: 3,72MB MVI movie.
Taking the hill 1: 1.48MB MVI movie.
Taking the hill 2: 3.72MB MVI movie.
Look at http://home.hccnet.nl/erikmeijer/framesetloonopzandapril2004.html for two more movies.

Why a Swift GTI engine? The old 1.3L 8 valve engine was ad his end. It was consuming 1L oil ever trip. So we had a GTI engine left over from our Rally car were the front engine mount was broken.

Why would you put twin turbo on it? Just for the hell of it? It seems to me it would be much better with a single turbo and high flow fuel injection. Something in the Hilborn or Holley Projection mould. I helped setup a 1.3 Samurai engine with a lightly boosted turbo and a Holley Projection (2 bbl) and the engine produced 138 hp on the dyno. I can not remember the torque nor the type of cam that was used. I do know the cam came from Rob Hawke and the turbo was from a Mazda.
