FOR SALE - $6500 O.B.O.

Bid by email a22770 (at) msn-dot-com

Don't waste $18,000 or more setting up an ITS car, this one is set up, competitive, and ready to go for a fraction of the cost to build.

Modifications include:

Full NASCAR-style roll cage
(keeps driver intact in case of off-roading)

All safety equipment required by SCCA
(including fire extinguisher and master off switch)

Custom headers by builder/driver
(good for 1.5 seconds / lap at Hallett road course and improved driver comfort)

Fiberglass race seat
(wraparound design keeps driver in place in hard cornering)

Advanced Design shocks
(externally double adjustable for the ultimate control of track-specific set-up)

Ground Control coil-over and caster/camber plates
(allows you to dial in a suspension setting and alignment for any track)

Custom Strut Tower brace
(stiffens body, reduces body roll in cornering)

Urethane bushings in suspension
(improves cornering by stiffening suspension in key areas)

Panasport and Prime wheels
(full set of 4 each - lightweight to maximize on-track performance)

K&N cone filter charger
(coupled with 3-inch intake tube forces lots of cold air into engine)

Carbotech brake pads
(one of the best brands available - should be competitive for another 2-3 races)

Custom brake ducting
(cools brakes, since cross-drilling is not allowed in ITS)

?New? Hoosier tires
(only one race on these tires, mfr claims they should be good for 6 weekends)

a22770's 1987 Nissan 200SX This car is the current lap record holder at Hallett Road Course in the ITS Class.

a22770's 1987 Nissan 200SX I, the builder/driver, spent 6 years and approx. $18,000 building this car.

a22770's 1987 Nissan 200SX Modifications include full SCCA safety specs. This NASCAR style roll cage exceeds the safety specs.

a22770's 1987 Nissan 200SX Everything that doesn't make the car go, turn, or stop better has been removed from the car and 100 lbs. of lead have been added to make the car weigh in at the minimum weight for the class. This allowed me to lower the car's center of gravity and improve handling further.
