This is my '66 Fairlane convertible. I drive it everyday to school and anywhere else I need to go. It is not a showcar quite yet, but we're working on getting there. It gets me wherever I need to go. It will NEVER be a trailer queen...it begs to be driven! It has been in the family for 34 years. We bought it 3 years ago from my grandpa, who had it for 25 years. He got it from my uncle, so that makes us the 4th owners of this car. My dad and I mowed yards and painted houses this summer, and all the money has gone towards fixing this car up, and it has paid off. The interior is finally finished! The driver's seat is power and all interior got recovered to look origional. Don't forget to look at page 2 at the pics we finally got of the cd player and speakers!

My favorite pics of the car:

Man, that's a sweet ride! Fairlane's rule. Is that the original paint job?

hey man
thanks for your positive comments, your Fairlane is beautiful! That interior is just immaculate, and thats really cool you and your dad did that work and saved up and spent it on the car! as for your question, the V6 mustang actually is pretty powerful for a 6er, I only got mine in the V6 because I have plans of swapping out the engine. However, I've got to say, I've taken out quite a few of those buggers in imports with intakes and exhaust who think they're so fast, and I can keep up with the previous model Mustang GT. Although, I don't know why you'd want a brand new car when you have a beautiful fairlane, i'm working on a 68 nova myself right now plus I'm looking to get a 50-54 chevy to make a rat rod, its all about the classics!

Whats up dude , got the rims on if you want to check them out. I went with 18's , If i would have went with 20's , the tires wouldve been so low profile , all of these pot holes in michigan streets wouldve destroyed them.......anywayz , let me know what you think , PEACE
