Here's my '71 Mustang hardtop in December of 2003. I bought it in April '03 for $3500 off a guy that lives a few blocks away. It was really ugly, so I decided to restore it and add a few personal touches. This was done little by little, as money allowed. It was repainted with the original factory color, bright blue metallic. I later added the Mach 1 stripes and spoiler. I put in a Holley 650 and an Edelbrock intake in place of the original 2-barrel carb. Interior is mostly original, except the dash pad and seats, which I did myself. I put an aftermarket steering wheel as well as a cd player. The original radio was left in place. I've done other minor things on the car, as well as replacing old or broken parts. The grille is from a '73, but the car came with it, so I left it on. That's pretty much it. The car still isn't finished, though. It's got a long way to go.
