hye, that ticking is only because it is a duel over head cam. its very commin and its not a problem. mine does it to but only when it is cold out. how many miles u have on it?? the larger valves would really only help performance. i would try rebuilding heads and honingvalve clearance. if u do that though u might as well get new cams, cam gears, and valves. lots of money and time without a car.
