As you can see its already in pretty good shape, but it needs more HP. As always lol. First thing I did was get this Edelbrock 3.25" drop base air cleaner for it. That helped a lot but it wasnt really what I wanted. Especially for winter when I need to cold start it a lot. So the answer? Ram air baby! Not from the top where you cant close it off, but from the bottom. I went to the hardware store with ten bucks and came out with some 4" dryer hose and a heating duct. I dremmelled it to fit and that was it. Relocated the horn to inside the fender and it was as simple as that. Any time I go faster than 60 it has much more pull to it.
Well my Mccord Powerplate finally came. I inspected it already and this thing looks SOLID.

This is the engine with the Edelbrock air cleaner, and below is with the custom CAI setup.

I also decided to make a custom cover for the high stop light. It's just the plastic used to cover windows, and it lights up red (daytime pics to come)

Here is a pic of the halogens I got for the purple bird. Then I put them in the TA and they look awesome with the fog lights on.
Here they are in the TA
I have also been toying with a 1/2 way headlight, or 'sleepyeye' mod. I already have it so I can stop the lights part way up, but the point at which they stop is entirely random lol.
And this is how I wired everything up. On the left is the rocker switch for the cutout, and on the right, where the cigarette lighter goes, is where the toggle switch resides. I put that in because the power it is tapped into is not switched. Ignore the loonies.
Although I dont have an exhaust system, due to the cutout, I still wanted some better looking tips. These are 3" chrome deals I bought and welded on myself.

1 - Overview
2 - some of the mods
3 - random pics, a 78 z/28, etc.
