Cold Air Intake
I am trying to make a cold air intake box to allow a 3", 13" long 90 degree bent intake pipe. It will use a 3" to 2 1/4" reducer pipe to make for a better fit at the box. The following pictures show the cardboard mock-up being made for test fitting. It show at least make for a better looking part then a retrofitted factory air intake set-up. More details to come.

After looking at the first mock-up of the air intake, it really needed to be made in a simplier way. I rebuilt it and the mark two version is a much nicer looking unit. Other then some small detail adjustments for the fitting of the add-on's, the basic design is now done.

The start of building the metal version has been started. It should be ready hopefully by the end of week to be ready to use. Hopefully this will give the car a little kick in the throttle department.

Two views of metal version to be used on the car. Given the very simple tools being used, it is not coming out to bad. It will have a very hand built feel to it but I am hoping it works out to be a useful item for the car.
