SCROLL DOWN FOR AUGUST 18TH 2008 UPDATE

This is my sister's '04 Chevy Optra, which she just got two days ago. The color of the car is called "Denim Blue" but everyone else says it's periwinkle, so keeping up our family tradition of naming all our cars, this car is now known as Peri. Features include:

-4 Speed Auto Transmission with "Hold" feature
-4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes
-Daewoo 4 cylinder engine
-Power locks
-Power windows
-Power sunroof
-Cruise control
-AM/FM CD/MP3 player with steering wheel radio controls
-Leather wrapped steering wheel/shifter knob

It's a nice little car. I took it for a test drive and it handles quite nicely. So much so that I now want to get one of my own, instead of my old rustbucket which can be seen here, but that's not likely to happen any time soon. Here's the pix.

CAR GOES BACK

Well after four years the lease ran out and my sister decided not to buy it out, but instead went with a Toyota Corolla. I have to admit that at first I did not much like the fact that the little car was a Daewoo/Suzuki rebadged into a Chevrolet, but it did pretty well for itself when all was said and done. I took care of it as best as I could for her and kept it in as good shape as I knew how, and except for needing a tuneup, it's going back in pretty good condition. I hope the next owner takes care of it as well as I have, because the one thing I hate more than anything is people neglecting and abusing their machinery. Best wishes to Peri The Optra and her next owner for smooth roads ahead.
