I have an old favorite, one of the Gelorup quarries. Out here there is a lot of different types of terrain, sand hills, grassy knolls, gravel, bush bashing, kangaroos…not a terrain type unless run over and some real suspension testers. It is a really great place to get the hang of your off roader and test to see what she can really do. The quarry has been leveled recently which is a pain in the arse.

Once on my way back from the quarry I ran into a mate who advised me to go down and test myself on this track that was completely flooded. It was flooded alright and I plunged into it head first. Everything was going smooth until about half way when my rig decided to stop. After getting out and pushing it up to a shallow patch I got it started again and my mate and I made it out to tell the tale, and my Suzy survived another day. Recently we went back there but the water had almost completely disappeared. However on a return trip on the same path the car stopped about 2m or 6 foot from where it happened last time… but there was no water this time round.

It has recently been good weather at Dalyelup Beach and I thought it was time for testing one of the first things it thought buying my Suzy would do, it took about 2 years to get to it but I'm glad I did it with a bit more experience behind me.
My Suzy is such a poser.
this a result of holding the body board wrong when "Scurfing". sand burn takes a while to heal.
this is my mate, a long time 4x4ing buddy and I'm about to accidentally almost rip his little pinky off.
this was my second outing a weekend later and with a better tow rope. My rig really knows how to swim.
this really is a lot of fun; this picture is about 2 seconds before I stacked it.
For details on how to make a really safe "scurfing" tow rope email me.
